As reported by Grainews in their article “New Ranger Extreme Duty UTV model from Polaris,” this summer, Polaris unveiled a groundbreaking addition to their lineup—an Extreme Duty Ranger side-by-side with a three-cylinder, 1,500 cc engine. This powerhouse boasts an industry-leading 110 horsepower, providing 30% more power, and 105 foot-pounds, delivering 50% more torque than its closest competitor.
Steve Menneto, president of Polaris Off Road, emphasized the extensive research that went into developing this extreme duty vehicle. The Ranger XD 1500 features the unique ProStar 1,500 cc engine and the industry’s only Steeldrive transmission, setting it apart as a solution tailored to the real-world needs of utility customers.
