Can-Am’s Maverick R boasts a new chassis constructed from dual-phase tubular steel, designed for speed and agility. The Maverick R’s track width of 77 inches ensures it remains legal on most trails and certain roadways, while the 108-inch wheelbase promises stability even at high speeds.
But it’s not just the Maverick R’s chassis that’s turning heads. A powerful powertrain, featuring a new turbocharged 3-cylinder engine from Rotax. This 999cc four-stroke engine with a closed deck aluminum block delivers 240 horsepower, making it the most powerful production side-by-side in the market.
Where the Maverick R introduces a dual-clutch gearbox. Their response to the Maverick R includes a side-by-side market first: Rotax’s dual-clutch gearbox with a seven-speed transmission featuring both high- and low-range gears, all adjustable on the fly. With paddles conveniently mounted on the column, you can shift with ease, ensuring an exhilarating off-road experience.
